Hi, I'm Kevin, frontman and principle songwriter for The Jokers. We're a four-piece, genre-bending GenX/GenY band from the Durango / Bayfield area, performing in Southwest Colorado and Northwest New Mexico. The Jokers are committed to one principle, first and foremost: Play original rock-n-roll that hits hard, moves people, and actually has something to say; like when music really mattered.
In a region filled with talented cover bands and singer/songwriters, The Jokers bring something different to the local music scene — a legit, full on rock band experience built on original songwriting, dynamic live energy, and decades of combined stage experience.
Meet the Band
Kevin – Vocals & Songmeister
Kevin drives the creative vision of The Jokers. As the primary songwriter and frontman (and chief get'r done officer) he blends sharp lyrical perspective with a Gen-X rock sensibility rooted in authenticity rather than trend-chasing. His focus: write great songs that stand up on their own, then bring them to life on stage with our sound a a band band.
Mike – Bass
A familiar name in the Durango music community, Mike has been anchoring stages across the Four Corners for decades. He has played with well-known regional acts like Formula-151 and brings seasoned musicianship and a rock-solid foundation to The Jokers’ sound.
Jackson – Lead Guitar
Jackson delivers tone, texture, and fire. Whether it’s melodic phrasing or explosive leads, his playing gives the band a unique dynamic that pushes songs from solid to unforgettable in a live setting.
Ken & Amanda – Drums & Percussion
Returning to complete the original lineup of the band on drums, Ken steps in with decades of gigging experience on the skins. His loose, expressive style and raw physicality blend perfectly with the band’s live energy on stage. Along with his wife on percussion and backing vocals, Ken and Amanda form the pulse of the band.
